      I have been a working artist for the past
eighteen years. Painting is a life long passion
and I am currently in gouache and mixed media.
Art runs in my family as both my parents were
artists. I designed and built my studio on a
mountain top eleven years ago just north of
Blue Ridge, Geaorgia. I find it to be my favorite
creative center. I teach in both Atlanta, Geaorgia
and Cloudcroft, New Mexico. For the past
eleven years I taught a nationally recognized self
expression class I developed for the Atlanta Union Mission men’s services facility. My class is part of a comprehensive drug and alcohol recovery program operated for seven decades by the Mission. Many of the men I work with have previously been incarcerated.
I teach master level drawing at the number one workshop in the state of New Mexico. This year will be the sixth year I have been an invited instructor at the Cloudcroft Art Workshop.
